Alfonse -Unit Analysis and some builds-

Hello summoners, today I will be talking about that one of the first unit that you at the start of the game, Alfonse, the dissapointment of his kingdom and his father ( RIP Gustav). Alright, I was just joking so do not take seriusly what I just said.
Alfonse is a infantry sword master or however you want to call him. He is one of the members of Askr trio so it is impossible to get merges for him (for know), commonly people use him i modes like Arena or AR becouse once every 3 weeks he is a bonus unit so investing on him is normally a good idea and it is very recommended for new players to invest on him. First like always I will be talking about his stats. His stats at level 40 as 5* (unmerged and unflowored) are the following ones:
43HP/35Atk/25Spd/32Def/22Res 
(Very impressive stats I know)
 He always had  a prf weapon and in 2018 he got he got an update to improve it gaving him brazen attack/def 3 on his weapon and Triangle Adept refine (Yes the refine sounds like a joke)
His prf weapon is named: Fólkvangr (non-inheritable).
16 Mt
-At start of turn, if unit's HP ≤ 50%, grants Atk+5 for 1 turn.
You can upgrade it in the weapon refinery shop and Fólkvangr is effect will changeto the following one:
-"At start of combat, if unit's HP ≤ 80%, grants Atk/Def+7 during combat.".
 And after upgrade the weapon it can be refined and have the following effect added as well:
If unit has weapon-triangle advantage, boosts Atk by 20%. If unit has weapon-triangle disadvantage, reduces Atk by 20%. (It also gives +3HP, like every effect refine).
He has the following skills:
Special: Sol (non-inheritable). Restores HP = 50% of damage dealt. (Cooldown 3)

A Skill: Death Blow 3 (non-inheritable, it unlocks at 4*). If unit initiates combat, grants Atk+6 during combat.

C Skill: Spur Atk 3 (non-inheritable, it unlocks at 4*). Grants Atk+4 to adjacent allies during combat.
(All the skills are non-inheritable becouse you are incapable of foddering Alfonse.)
He is used in Arena, Aether Raids and you can use it in Arena Assault, with his triangle refine and axebreaker and some buffs in his attack you should be able to kill some Surtrs or green unit with him in your AA run. I will first write about Alfonse in Aether Raids, I will try this time to make a T20 or bellow build and a T21+ build since Surtrs at defense are very weird but it seems that Surtr is very used in defense and offense team in low AR ranks.
Low AR rank build I kill Surtr edition
I mean he does what the title of the build states, he can kill surtrs in arena and other green units probably, becouse he has low speed and resistance a build to try end turn with him it is not recommended unless the enemy team only has melee units, if this is the case you could try a +attack refine (or +Def refine) Fólkvangr with Brazen Atk/Def 3 as A Skill and Sacred Seal with Vantage as B skill, but this is not gonna happen so do not build that. Alright I have to say that it depends on your team if you want to use any other C Skill, Assist skill or sacred seal skill, you dont have to follow the build exactrly the same just get the idea of what his role is in this specific case. You can use smite or draw back or even a rally skill if you think you need it. (You can also use bonfire instead of moonbow).
T21+ AR build I can get chilled too bruh edition
 This is a "support" Alfonse build his main objective is to hit by enemies Atk, Def and Res Chills sadly he is not fast enough to be able to get hit by chill speed (Unless you are using a team of very slow units. This Alfonse only has the "bonus unit" stats added to if you are using a Eir, Peony with him on light season you have to add the stats as well (Eir: +5HP/+5Res, Peony: +5HP/+4Spd), the same if you are using him on astra season with a Naga, Altina (Naga: +5HP/+5Def, Altina:+5HP/+3Atk). He reaches 60 attack, 43 Def and 41 Res if you are using double Eir what is pretty good and I would give him now the name of chill master. With 2 Nagas he would reach 53 Def what it sounds like too much so in Astra if you are using double Naga try to change his weapon refine to +res so he reaches 35 res, what probably is some cases is not good enough. Normally people already do this with other units that use on their team every week or specific season, likeMale Corrin, CYL Lucina, Mathilda, etc. So for many people the build can be not worth it, but is a cheap build and can have the work done so it is not that bad, Alfonse gets chilled and buffs +6 other units Atk, Def and Res so I would say it is a good support build overall. Alright I have to say that it depends on your team if you want to use any other C Skill, Assist skill or sacred seal skill, you dont have to follow the build exactrly the same just get the idea of what his role is in this specific case. You can use smite or draw back or even a rally skill if you think you need it. (You can also use bonfire instead of moonbow). You can also use Fortress Def/Res 3 but that is a heavy investment and probably Alfonse would not be able to tank Atk chill since his attack goes from 60 to 55. So it is up to you if you want to make that kind of investment. This is not a very heavy investment build becouse you can get all the skills in this build from 3/4* units (One being a TT unit sadly).

AR build Galeforce Alfonse? Now this is madness edition
As I mentioned in Alfonse (NY) -Unit Analysis and some builds- I talk about how Alfonse (OG) could work as a Galeforce user if you have an Alfonse: Askran Duo in your main team or you can make a team with one, with him Alfonse could activate Galeforce with one hit since galeforce would have 1 cd. If you dont have one I would not recommend Galeforce Alfonse then since yeah you could use an extra infantry unit with Infantry Pulse maybe and give Alfonse Heavy Blade seal instead of Quick Pulse, but it is hard to find a +58 HP infantry unit. I guess you could use your free Ninian with +6 flowers and double HP +5. Then it would work.

Ok lets stop talking about AR and lets start talking about every's favourite gamemode called Arena.
For Arena, first I will show a super poor f2pbtw builds that means i will use some double rally skills (Not +) and 240sp skills as well. Also since the arena update now you only need a kill with your bonus unit for that spicy +12 score, so I will not make an omnipotent Alfonse (like Despacito Alfonse).

There is not much to say, just use 240 sp skills and a 500 sp special and a double rally since they are 300 sp assist skill, it is easy to get and it just works. This a example build, just make a build and try to score as higher as possible.

Not mcuh to comment to be honest just score high with any double rally + skill (f2p btw) use RDuel Infantry 3 because it rises his bst to 170 bst and gives him +5HP (Rip HP +5 Skill) and any Fortity/Hone 4 skill since it is a 300 sp skill.

Lastly for Arena Assault just use "Low AR rank build I kill Surtr edition" since you will only use it to some green units and as I said before it just works.

Alfonse (New Year) -Unit Analysis and some builds-

Now I will analyse the man who opens the gate of this new year 2020, Alfonse: Askran Duo, he with her sister Sharena, represent the new Duo Unit,. Duo units are a type of units that can use an extra "special ability" that can be used once per map in every gamemode (Except tap battle, of course), also duo units with a "pair up" are not allowed to use their duo skill during combat so keep that in mind in gamemodes like Allegiance Battles. He is a blue tome infantry unit. First I will show his stats and talk about his abilities and uses in different gamemodes. His stats at level 40 as 5* (unmerged and unflowored) are the following ones:
 41HP/38Atk/17Spd/35Def/30Res 
(He has superboon at Atk and Def, what is quite nice
he reaches 44 Atk if +Atk and 39 Def if +Def)


He has a prf named: Imbued Koma (non-inheritable).
14 Mt
-Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of combat, if Special is ready, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.
His Duo Skill: Grants Special cooldown count-2 to unit and infantry allies within 3 rows and 3 columns centered on unit.
He has a prf special named: Open the future (non-inheritable).
-Boosts damage by 50% of unit's Def. Restores HP = 25% of damage dealt. (Cooldown 3)
He has the following skills:
A Skill: Close Counter (inheritable). Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range.
B Skill: Special Spiral (inheritable). If Special triggers before or during combat, grants Special cooldown count-2 after combat.
C Skill: Def/Res Oath (inheritable). At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to an ally, grants Def/Res+5 for 1 turn.
Since he is an infantry tome unit, he can be considered like the best blue tome unit in the game becouse of being infantry, he has acces to cooldown special reduction by the use of Infantry Pulse from other allies, this makes him a better option than Ophelia in IP teams for AR-D, I am not calling Ophelia bad since Ophelia can still work in no-IP teams like double Yune lift reduction map or any mixed map with 2 other tome users at least. So he does incredible well in AR-D since his weapon prevents follow-up attack and gives extra +5 invisible buffs to Alfonse during combat while his special is activated makes him hard to tank and hard to engage, and by using a Seliph and an Alfonse your AR-D team can be hard or impossible to galeforce. I will now post an example of how could he be build for an IP AR-D team. (The unit used as example will be a nautral unit, unmerged and unflowored.)

Recomended build:
The fodder will not hard to get or obtain since you only need any rally, if you are going to use him in a Rally Trap team (non-plus rallies are easy to obtain), ignis can be obtained by foddering a 4* Gharnef, Robin (F), Cormag, Travant (Is not recommendable to fodder any of the four units I mentioned before since they are GHB units and you only get a limited number of copies), Thea, Henry (og), Boey or Leon. Vantage can be obtained by foddering a 4* Travant (Not recommendable again since he is a GHB unit), Reinhardt(og) or Lon'qu. In this build I like to use Vantage since Bolt Towers are a very common build for AR-O teams, and a max level bolt tower can deal 30 damage at turn 3 leaving an unmerged Alfonse at 11 HP making him invulnerable to a ranged unit trying to hit and run or vantage your team. I know that some AR-O compositions (Not a lot) run aversa in their team so Atk/Def Oath may be terrible for him in that perticular case so is up to you using other c skill or other seals if you want, it depend mostly in the team structure.

Now for AR-O I will show two different build and 2 different team compositions.

Galeforce Team becouse yes we can:

(Use as c skill or sacred seal anything you want as I said it all depends on the team composition and what your team needs, this build is mainly dofused on support the units with galeforse so it is much easier for them to activate it thanks to his duo skill)
It is a good option to use him in AR-O with 2 Mythic units (Depends if you want the max score or you have mythics for indicated season or you dont want to run mythics in your team, but for AR tier 21+ is recommended to use 2 or 1 mythic at least.), a unit that can use galeforce (It is normally preferable to be a unit with slaying weapon or fast enough to double), Alfonse and the bonus unit has to be one of the Askr trio. Sharena and Anna are decent galeforce users but OG Alfonse main problem is that he is slow, thanks to Alfonse: Askran Duo this is not a problem.

Recomnended builds for Askr trio for the galeforce team:
(The units posted will be unblassed so they will not recieve any
 stats from the mythics heroes that you will use in your team)

Arena
 Because Alfonse is a Duo unit he is also granted a special pasive for Arena.
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 185, treats unit's stats as 185 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills. Meaning that even if he is a low bst unit compared to a melee armor unit he can score high thanks to his passive that let him score like a 185 bst unit. Now the thing about it is that this Alfonse is a 5★ locked unit and seasonal so it is difficult for a normal player or a f2p to +10 him unless you have saved like 2.5k orbs or around it. So I will compare him to +10 f2p armors to see how difference of score there is. (Both units will have skills that cost the same amount of SP.)
 In arena he (Unmerged) scores way less than a max. invested +10 Effie or Gwendolyn, needing 8 merges to score the same as a +Effie or Gwendolyn.


 If you are able to +10 him you will score 8 points more than Effie or Gwendolyn.

 He scores very well if you are able to get the merges but the thing is if you think it is worth enough or you really like Alfonse.
For Arena Assault he is very usable (like most of the feh units for this gamemode), if you just run basekit you will probably be fine.

Abel -Unit Analysis and some builds-

First of all let's start these "unit analysis" in alphabetic order, so I'll begin with Abel: The Panther from Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem.
He is a cavalary lance unit, summonable at 3*/4* (unless he is focus unit in that specific banner), his stats at level 40 as 5* (unmerged and unflowored) are the following ones:
39HP/33Atk/32Spd/25Def/25Res 
 (He has superboon at Def, reaching 29 Def if +Def).
He has a prf weapon named: Panther Lance (non-inheritable).
16 Mt +3Hp 
-During combat, boosts unit's Atk/Def by number of allies within 2 spaces × 2. (Maximum bonus of +6 to each stat.) If cavalry allies within 2 spaces use sword, lance, or axe and unit initiates combat, unit attacks twice.
He also has:
Special Skill: Aegis (Inheritable at 4* or lower)
A Skill: HP +5 (Inheritable at 5*, which is trash fodder)
B Skill: Swordbreaker 3 (Inheritable at 4*, he is the main source of swordbreaker in the game becouse he is the only one that unlocks it at 4*)
He is at most a generic lance cavalary unit, other units like Peri or Oscar are considerable better than him, and he is not very usefull in AR-O (Unless you are using him in some weird galeforce team), I dont see him being good at AR-D since his weapon gives conditional buffs and brave effect (He could work probably in a weird team if he uses Wings of Mercy), in arena he doesn't score well since he only reaches 154 bst, and we still don't have B Duel Cavalary 3 to optimize his score. He can be usefull for Arena Assault, since you have to use different heroes to be able to beat 7 Arena Def maps. His weapon is very usefull since it makes it very easy to eleminate some red units, and for him, since he is a 3*/4*, he is relatively easy to merge so you could use a 4*+10 copy of him with his prf ince he would only lose like a couple of stats in HP/Atk/Spd/Def/Res.
Recomended builds for AA:
I spent 200k feathers for +3 attack edition
 I am very poor and f2p btw edition 
(Also spent 20k feathers for prf lol)
(For this kind of build you can also use Life and Death or Fury or +3 attack, since with this build your only focus it's attack.)
I know what you are thinking, "But sir I actually like Abel and I want to make him the best unit in the game so I can impress my girlfriend/boyfriend with it", no problemo I will add 3 more invested builds with better skills.
